11 Years Later – Redesigning bl9gger.com with AI, Vibe Coding, and a Dream

Being Late at 9 with Gger - Team
Okay, so I finally finished the theme layout design for bl9gger.com. It took a fair amount of experimenting, tweaking, and workarounds—but I got it to a place where I can finally say: it's ready.

It's 2026 now, and the last time I seriously touched my blog's design was... wait for it... 2015. Yes, eleven years ago. Imagine that—eleven years since I last sat down and really built something here. And now, after more than a decade, I'm coming back.

Honestly, there's no business goal or marketing funnel behind this. I just wanted to pick up where I left off—to continue the passion I once had for blogging. Of course, I'm still a fan of SEO. I love seeing websites rank on the first page of Google. But a lot has changed since 2015.

The AI Shift – Everything is Different Now

These past few weeks (okay, months), I've been researching, studying, and trying to catch up. And one thing is crystal clear: SEO isn't the king it used to be. It still matters, especially for marketing, but it's no longer the only dominant force. Why? Because now we have AI—artificial intelligence—quietly working behind the scenes, helping humans do things faster and smarter.

So I did what any curious blogger would do: I started experimenting. After two months of trial, error, and late-night prompting, I finally found a workflow that works. I learned how to collaborate with AI, not just use it as a tool.

The AIs I've Been Working With

  • ChatGPT – Still the most mature AI out there. Its memory feature is a game-changer; we've been talking for months, and it remembers. It guides me, helps me debug, and keeps the context alive.
  • Gemini – I believe this is the dominant AI for 2026. The free tier recently changed, and the "thinking version" has limits now—but it's still incredibly sharp.
  • Grok – Owned by Elon Musk (x.com). Still under development, but the engine is crazy powerful. I can already tell it's going to be a beast.
  • Claude – Great at coding, but I haven't clicked with it yet. The limits are tight, and since I'm not on a paid plan, it's tough to build momentum.
  • Others – I've poked around with Dola AI, Perplexity, and a few more. Some are promising, but I haven't found my rhythm with them yet.

And let's be real—I'm broke. No subscriptions, no pro plans. Just the free tiers and a lot of patience. That's why I had to figure out how to make these tools work for me without paying a cent. It wasn't easy, but after two months, I finally cracked the code for making these tools work—without spending a cent.

The Design & The Speed

This will be the last look of Bl9gger.com since the improvements has been applied base only help generally with Gemini and other AI's confirmations. What I did was actually work with cross checking.

Old BL9Gger look.
Old BL9Gger look.

So here's the result: a redesigned bl9gger.com—an AI-powered blog redesign built with a ton of assistance from ChatGPT, Gemini, and Grok. This entire blog redesign workflow—from layout concepts to performance tweaks—was shaped by conversations with AI.

BL9Gger PageSpeed Results

The page speed scores? 99 and 100 on mobile (still figuring out that last point). For context, these are Lighthouse metrics—the industry standard for measuring site performance. Everything is green, which means the site loads fast and efficiently. But here's the thing—you can't just trust the PageSpeed Insights dashboard. The real test is Lighthouse, and even then, Google needs traffic to properly analyze and validate your site. Right now, I have zero traffic. It's just me, the AI, and a blank slate.

But that's okay. I'm not rushing. I'm polishing.

What's Next – A Universe, A Story, and BloggerSpot

I've always had this story in my head—a universe I wanted to build since I was a kid. Life happened: nine-to-five jobs, raising a family, surviving. I never had the resources or the clarity to start. But now, with AI helping me turn ideas into structure, I think I'm finally ready.

Next month, I'll begin releasing the first chapters of that universe. It's ambitious, yes. But I've never been more serious about creating something of my own.

In parallel, I'm working on BloggerSpot (bloggerspot.org)—a separate project focused on SEO experiments, tools, and tutorials specifically for the Blogger platform. I'm using "BloggerSpot" as the conceptual name to keep things clear and consistent. It's still in development, but I'm building it piece by piece, using everything I've learned.

This is Me, Coming Back

I used to work as a data analyst at an IT solutions company. Then I worked as a part-time driver—it paid well—but eventually, I paused and realized: I miss blogging. I miss making my own decisions, building my own corner of the internet.

So here I am. I'm sticking with it. No matter what.

This post isn't just a redesign announcement. It's a re-entry. A promise to myself that I'll keep writing, building, and imagining.

The universe I'm building will balance joy and sorrow, action and silence. Maybe one day, I'll even bring it to YouTube. But for now, I need to finish the story—the one that's been living in my head for years. And with AI by my side, I finally feel like I can.

If this resonates with you—whether you're a fellow blogger, an AI explorer, or just someone chasing a creative spark—feel free to follow along. More soon.
